The Ray County Coalition is gathering information about the attitudes and opinions held by adults regarding alcohol use in our community. Your opinions are very valuable to us and will help us plan and obtain funding for future programs. Governor Nixon signed HB 62 on July 9th, 2009. HB 62 is the omnibus crime bill that included the ban of the alcohol without liquid devices (AWOL). This law will go into effect August 28th, 2009.

The Ray County Coalition in partnership with all five school districts in Ray County, sponsored a County-wide Character Education and Anti-Bullying artwork contest. The contest was open to all public, private and home school students K-12th grade. The winners were recognized at the Coalition's monthly meeting as winners received gift certificates and other donations items from area businesses throughout Ray County.
